Project scope: communications

Looking for a one-stop solution for all of its communications needs, The Coalition for Buzzards Bay hired The Blue Ocean to be its all-inclusive communications partner, managing all of its web, print, and media communications.  As part of this relationship, The Blue Ocean helped the environmental organization successfully refine their marketing and dissemination efforts through compelling copy writing, effective media relations, and engaging print and web design.

In addition to designing all the Coalition’s website and print materials, The Blue Ocean wrote and edited content for annual reports, newsletters, brochures, event collateral, and monthly e-newsletters.  This task often required translating complicated scientific concepts into engaging stories presentable to the general public.  The Blue Ocean also served as the Coalition’s publicist, writing and distributing all press releases and handling contact with the media. 

Working together, The Coalition and The Blue Ocean proved themselves valued partners.  The Blue Ocean’s full-service communications capabilities brought the Coalition’s marketing and outreach efforts to a new level.
