As part of its overall communications relationship with The Coalition for Buzzards Bay, The Blue Ocean led a redesign of the organization’s website. The well-known environmental nonprofit organization needed an engaging website where their members and the general public could find the latest news on preservation efforts, make donations, and purchase merchandise to support their programs. 

Using an ocean-themed color palette and a stockpile of its own photography, The Blue Ocean delivered a completely redesigned site that evokes the Bay’s beauty while presenting information in an intuitive way.  A particularly unique feature of the website is a custom-designed interactive Buzzards Bay water quality map. With just a click of a mouse, visitors can zoom in to hundreds of sampling stations Bay-wide to learn about the water quality health of harbors, coves, and rivers. The Blue Ocean also designed a complementary e-newsletter template that allows the Coalition to keep in touch with their supporters and drive traffic to the website.

Bay-themed photography shot by The Blue Ocean helps communicate the visual beauty of Buzzards Bay to their members. The Blue Ocean’s photos appear throughout the CBB website, e-newsletters, and in various print and communications materials such as their annual reports and brochures.
