Compton Marine, a Fall River, MA based manufacturer of high quality custom powerboats, contacted The Blue Ocean to assist them with several projects needed to prepare the media launch of their new Compton 33 motor yacht.
The Blue Ocean conducted an on-the-water photography shoot at the initial sea-trials of the boat, and captured a supply of interior and exterior photographs to be used in their initial ad campaign. From there, The Blue Ocean reworked some of the designer’s drafting sketches in Photoshop to refine them for printed publication. An initial logo concept from Compton Marine was similarly polished. Our designer pulled together all these elements to quickly create a full page print advertisement ad to introduce the Compton 33. That ad that ran in several national powerboat magazines, and was able to provide Compton with valuable name recognition in advance of their boat show appearances.
Within a week, Compton Marine had the materials needed to begin an aggressive marketing campaign for their brand new yacht.
